Re: how dare you rant about our prez ?

How dare you rant on about our installed president in a time of war.. Didn't you listen to Trent Lott when he explained to you that to do so amounted to treason.

Even though the Republicans felt no such prohibitions in attacking either Roosevelt or Truman during WWII, today we must know better than our fathers. We are told we would be un-american to play the critic in the case of Duhbya.

After all, Bush didn't need to win election as he was installed by judicial fiat after losing the popular--and most likely the electoral vote.

Certainly an annointed prez, having been duly installed has unquestioned legitimacy and in today's climate he should not be subject to being demeaned as this would be the same as giving comfort to Saddam, Omar, and bin-Laden.

Look to the compasion of this administration. John Pondexter has something close to his old job back. This shows a devotion to ending age discrimination in the Bush Whithouse. Why back in October of 1986 Poindexter as National Security Adviser proposed a strategy to combine real and illusionary events--through a disinformation program making Gadhafi think there is a high degree of internal opposition to his regime.

Poindexter's methodology was to manipulate the media by selective "leaking" information and playing the media like so many violins.

How wonderfully consistent the Republican aristocracy is. And how efficient; all we have to do is take Poindexter's pronouncements and insert Saddam wherever Gadhafi was mentioned and, viola, ready made xerox policy.

After all we have the words of that great Republican leader George Shultz at the War College when he reminded us "international law should not hamper US self defense against terrorism." And CIA's Casey added "we need not absolute evidence the targets selected were soley used to support terrorism."

How can anyone expect a more consistent policy than that given us by GW Bush, Jr and his administration. They are using their experience to re-do all the things they tried before and this time they hope to get them right.
