...and not a commie in sight. Wall to wall righties in an infinite variety of gas guzzling, sparkling clean SUVs (with a penchant for chrome aftermarket 20" rims) and the returning "snowbird" retirees in their American made Cads and Lincolns...all fueling up in gas stations so big that they could swallow a CA shopping center or two.
I confess I shouted aloud for the short time Simon was ahead of Davis 44-40 with only 16 percent of the returns counted. That was the highlight of the evening for me, though I knew the outcome in advance.
Sadly, California would need to be hit by terrorists before they move far enough to the right to elect a republican governor again.
