Re: human shields
When the war starts, and the bodies of human shields start showing up, I do hope someone takes the time to investigate who actually killed them. There's a lot of political hay to be made for Iraq by having large piles of dead Americans appear. Maybe enough hay to warrant hurrying the process along a little.
It is in Saddam's best interest in this to maximize Iraqi civilian casualties, and this is a handicap we have to work around to see that it doesn't happen.
