Nope. Rabbit is down-right lovely. Its one of the best tasting meats when cooked right.

Not that I would ever try it, but one of my ancestors was said to go squirrel hunting every morning right out of bed. He would scramble an egg with the brains. Swore by it. He lived to some absurd old age, too. But on that side of the family, folks lives regularly to an advanced age (like 80-90) on a diet of

breakfast:Biscuits and Gravy, SLABS of bacon (not little strips, ever see a steak-sized portion of fried Bacon?), eggs and chicory coffee.

Lunch: fried chicken for lunch, with chicken gravy and *maybe* corn on the cob slathered in butter.

Dinner generous slabs of red meat for dinner every night, wit some potatoes fried in in butter and draped in sour cream and cheese (see, thats the vegetable).

On that side, they all go senile by 74, but truck on in nursing-homes until tey are 90.... Cancer kills em before heart failure or stroke.
