The Left in America knew all this. And still went on.

A considerable number of men and women who still believe that Marxism is the ideal philosophy for human society are currently in positions of responsibility at universities, teaching our children.

It is perfectly acceptable, even approved by many, for a college professor to stand up and declare themselves a socialist, or a Marxist.

If such a person declared themselves a Nazi, or a follower of Hitler's philosophy, he would be immediately fired, and probably run out of town on a rail. This is not true of communism.

In 1941, or even in the following couple of decades, there may have been some excuse of ignorance for supporting socialism. There is no excuse of ignorance of the history of socialism possible today. Yet I still run across, particularly on campuses, both students and faculty who worship Castro as a god, and believe the United States is the focus of all evil in the world. Such creatures have a disconnect with reality that approaches psychosis, yet in the case of the faculty they are honored and allowed to teach children.

In the name of rationality, what monstrous hypocrisy allows the philosophy that murdered over eighty million people to go not only unmolested on our campuses, but even largely uncommented?
