Raving Marxists...no such thing.

Tom,

There is no such thing as a raving Marxist. The Followers of Marx in word or deed are those who simply steadfastly undermine capitalist structures, encourage the destruction of those structures and encourage redistribution of others wealth. Lenin and his Bolshevik friends were not boisterous but diligent and swooped in and managed to cause dissent and stir jealousy and discontent.

Anyone who blatantly ignores the freedoms of the capitalist system and talks of the evil rich, evil CEOs, evil big corporations, is one who knowingly or unknowingly is following in Lenin's bloody footsteps.

To redistribute wealth as policy is insane. It goes against all moral judgment - it is stealing.

To provide for the feeble and aged is noble, but should never be done by redistributing the efforts of others.

Charity works when companies would be free of huge tax rates.

Corporations are made up of people. Corporations are held by people. 99% of corporations desire large middle and upper classes to sell to.

Ghettoes serve to harm business. While some leeches get into the system - a well off, minimally taxed populace will provide a greater number of candidates for the leeches replacement.

Social responsibility will be thrust upon the corporate sector - as it used to be and is elsewhere in the world.

In Germany, Mercedes build a small city for its workers and executive trainees to live in and a university to learn in.

Many companies would find that transition very easy. Childcare, daycare for employees children and more comprehensive healthcare could EASILY be afforded by a large company paying just a few % points less in taxes.

Soon the competition for benefits would be on. Companies would try to outdo eachother in benefits - almost in the same manner the Brick and Mortar companies were losing executives and graduates to dot.coms who were intent on employment with their firm being a "lifestyle" rather than a job.

Yes, raving Marxists are an illusion. Since the communist party was outlawed in America, the residuals who hold communistic beliefs are teachers and others who do not compete or whose performance and salary is based upon results.

For these folks communism comes naturally. Wouldn't everyone be happy not having to compete with others? Wouldn't everyone be better off if they received more loot stolen from these rich executives and capitalists?

Of course. It's not communism to them - it's common sense.

That is the problem.
