Moving on up
<(still bound to a K6-2 450)
Ouch! I should't say too much though, I spent the better part of 8 months accumulating the parts to build this system. Moved from a Cel 333 to 900, got the P-III by luck. Free, a price I can always afford.
If things turn around this year, buying a new Motherboard, 850G Intel chipset, Socket 478, going for minimum 2Gig P-4.
Have ATX case and the periphials, figure spend about $200 to $250.
After I get CD Burner. Or the newer CD-R/DVD ROM internals.
Assembling the parts is basicly a no-brainer, plug it in, screw it down. Easy 2 to 4 hours, software however..... I lost a lot of hair.
