Wanna play online sometime??

I got hooked when i got it for free with my SideWinder Force Feedback 2 last year.

I got Mercenaries when it came out in November at Best Buy. Beat that on medium difficulty in about a week... end mission seemed MUCH easier than beating Cousin William in Vengeance. I was a little disappointed, but the arena games make it kinda' fun, and commanding up to two Lances of 8 total 'mechs can keep ya busy...

Right now, I'm just getting into lan parties with some guys at work with Battlefield 1942. I just came across a website where there modding BF1942 into an all Star-Wars game. SW Battlefield. Can't wait until they get it out!

BTW, I am hooked on Radeons. I was using an AMD 900 with a Radeon 7200 (32 mb) when I first started playing MechWarrior4. I only ran into problems with just a tidge of skipped frames at 800x600 32bit when I would get the snot kicked out of me with a Clan Gauss or something heavy like that that would knock me around, or if I ran smack into another 'mech with lots going on on-screen. The 7200s are running for under 50 bucks now, I think. Great deal. They'll even run Unreal Tourny 2k3 and Battlefield 1942 at decent settings.

I recently upgraded to a Radeon 9000Pro 128mb and am running an AMD 2100 (1.73 ghz) and the 266mhz DDR. Was running overclocked for a bit, but after I added to 80mm fans to my case and I couldn't keep the CPU temp under 60C, I decided to run back at normal voltage before I made a paperweight out of it.
