Yeah, I grew up in CA
And remember Diablo Canyon. Do you remember Sun Desert? That was a plant out in the Mojave in the early '70s. SoCal Edison and SDG&E spent hundreds of millions of dollars fighting the extremists and LOST. It never got built.
Funny, though. I must have passed San Onofre hundreds of times on the way to and from Disneyland and never ONCE did I glow in the dark.
And, Gray Davis gets to go on Jay Leno and make jokes about greedy power companies and crooked Republicans. BAH. The one thing that NEVER changes in California is the politics.
