Yup. Paradise. That's what I think when I look out my window to the concrete below, and the concrete in the distance, and the street lined with so few trees I can count them on one hand. Utopia is what I feel when I'm flying down the parkway at 80 mph boxed in on all sides by trucks and cars on a 12-lane express route, going over an overpass and off ramps to an identical express route below - it just goes east-west that's all.
Grey and brown brick high-rises. Big airplanes flying overhead with wheels and engines dangling below like they're purpose is to make the plane look ugly.
Engineers have made the world worse. Cities are built like meat-packing systems. Higher and higher population density. Who gives a shit about comfort and community. It's all about how far I have to commute to work, where's the nearest bulk food store?
Before engineers arrived villages were less dense. More comfortable and people were probably happier. Imagine living on a starship cooped up with 10,000 people in a ball just 500 meters wide!!! This is the ultimate example of the future that engineers are creating!!!
There has to be some sort of relief here? Some sort of engineering antithesis?
