Fat chance of that happening. I've been unpleasantly acquainted with dozens of engineers. They climbed the ladder by stepping on the faces of others. In my experience most had a vicious streak bordering on the criminal, and they exercise it on everyone they meet with or without provocation. Why? Because they are power mongers, obsessed with respect, and with creating the illusion of expertise.

Engineer's sense of aesthetics is completely vapid, and you will not find a single one that has not disrespected an artist whenever the opportunity avails. In fact they systematically destroy others self-esteem through outright attacks if necessary, since they believe that it'll teach people. You see they firmly believe in their superiority, that they are the sole possessors of knowledge. It is no wonder that our wealthy society is the unpleasant, hurried, concrete-encased meat-grinder that it is. Engineers just heap on the misery until happiness and incentive disappear.

Now I want to say that I am NOT an engineer. I hold no degee, and likely never will given the lack of schools with correspondance courses for engineering programs. I will not leave the workforce to pursue a degree. If I cannot work and study at the same time I will not pay for the course. Henceforth I will learn as much as possible from the internet, which has been enormously educational, and from other people who can communicate in a calm, intelligent, manner - you know, like a normal human being.
