Imagine somebody reading your posts and figuring your dilemna from the other side of the world....We live on planet Earth; it's our home (astronauts going to the Moon were more impressed by its colors and beauty than by anything else and Culbertson, after 9/11, wanted to return back home ASAP, as he didn't feel at his place up there).
It's really not important if mankind won't spread in the universe, as one day, we'll share Earth with another intelligence, an artificial one, and this one will do whatever our body won't allow us to do.
