What a pathetic whine!

If you really want to see what life would be like without engineers, all you have to do is go visit some of the truly poor nations of the Earth. You'll find that in some places, as many as half of all children die before age 5, many from easily preventable causes. With no engineers around, these people lack basic utilities like electricity, sanitary water, and waste disposal. In addition, they lack basic technology to increase food production to feed themselves or to safely store and transport their food. Much of what is produced is lost to spoilage. They also lack access to modern medicines that were developed by scientists but manufactured in factories built by engineers.

If you cut the whinning as go see how millions of poor people live, you'll find their are hard and short. Cut the pity party and take a real hard look around you. Would you honestly trade places with those people living in poverty most Americans can't begin to imagine? If so, then you're more grossly uninformed than your posts indicate.
