When the models don't reflect the real world...

it isn't the real world's fault. Show me the the model that accurately reflects the decrease in measured global temperature over a 50 year period during the 20th century even as the CO2 levels rose. Show me the model that can take a set of known climate values from a given starting point and accurately model what happened over that time period. Until you can do that, you'll never convince me that the models are worth a damn. If the models can't reflect what actually happened, then the models are fatally flawed and useless for predicting the future.

Too bad you seen too blinded by the models themselves to seperate predicted values from historical evidence. Without validation, a model is nothing more than a hypothesis that runs on a computer. Depending on unvalidated models to make policy decisions is foolish, to put it mildly.

Your seemingly blind faith in computer models reminds me of the old timers who were blinded by computer technology a couple decades ago and went around saying, "The computer says so so it must be true!" Those of us who program for a living know how asinine it is to put such faith in computer products.
