"Upon rereading your post I see I assumed you were supporting comments implying natural global warming meant man made warming was was irrelevant with your comment "Based on long term trends, it's likely guess that global temperatures will trend higher". You did not implicitly state that. My apologies. "
Hmm.
I would say that the extent of human influence on any actual global warming is uncertain. Though the extent of human influence on the measured global temperature is not uncertain. By taking temperature reading in urban areas, you are not measuring global temperature- you are measuring urban areas around the world. Land area is 30% of the global surface area, urban areas are a small percentage of land area.
Urban areas are warmer than rural areas- this is not disputed.
Over last few centuries the global temperature has risen. Again not disputed. How much, and how significant, and what factors are responsible is different matter.
"I find the rest of your comments too poorly founded to bother replying to. I recommend leaving the anti greenhouse comments to the likes of Larry, Phil, and Tom who are capable of detailed technical arguments."
Fine by me, but I'm guessing Larry won't have the patience to explain the matter to you much longer.
