Mark says: "The evidence is that the Earth has warmed significantly as CO2 levels have risen."
What is the evidence?
Your statement is as though it's an accepted fact that increases in global CO2 levels increase global temperature. This premise has not been proven- it's a false premise.
Recently global temperature is trending higher- as measured by ground stations around the world. But there are problems with using ground station because urban areas can increase the local temperature, thereby alter the average temperature you are trying to measure.
Within the last few of decades, we have temperature measurements from satellites, this data does not indicate rising global temperature.
Over a longer time duration (centuries) it is fairly well determined that global temperature is rising- we have come out of a mini iceage (and before that there was warm period). Based on long term trends, it's likely guess that global temperatures will trend higher (oppose to go lower and possibly enter another ice age).
