Oh ...I don't know Dan...
Evil, to me, would be seeing this teacher return to class - already a martyr - and every year indoctrinating 30+ students a year until retirement about the evils of the government and the US.
The evil part of the government is him - as a state employee - he is a part of that government he apparently loathes.
While I do not have specifics. I have had teachers who were so liberal they make Barbara Streisand appear conservative - so it would not take much imagination to reconstruct the 'discussion' the teacher was having with the 11 and 12 year old 6th grade students who by law must be forced to be exposed to his perverted agenda.
That is a formative age - and that teacher is a clear and present danger. If I were the principal - I wouldn't hesitate about firing him - of course the ACLU and others will defend him - but he endangered lives recklessly and in violation of California code. So the firing would stick.
A rambling unemployed, liberal martyr is much less dangerous than one in the class who will seek the 12 year old kid who turned him in...and be that much more 'aggressive' in the class as a result.
But I await details....
