Reporter: Why would anyone want to own a Sherman tank?
SMG Zack Carey: Because it's very hard to shoot yourself while you're cleaning it.
"Zack is a Master Sargent assigned to his last post before leaving the service. He is a colorful character and even on has his own WWII vintage tank that is used for parades and such. After he stops a deputy from beating a call girl, he finds that he is a marked man in town. The sheriff arrests his son on a trumped up drug charge. When all else fails, Zack uses his tank to even the odds."
Technicality:
Zack is a command sergeant major, not a master sergeant in this flick.
Well worth the rental, and well worth the 6 bucks to buy it.

the hick-sheriff is being told by the commanding general that there is nothing the military can do to help him capture Zack, now accused of assisting his son in a prison break. Zack was due for retirement, and after 30 years in, there's really not a whole lot the general can do about the man. then he cites The Posse Comitatus Act. The sheriff's ears perk up at this.
"Did you just call me a pussy communist?"
