Of course I save my own money in an IRA.
And companies here provide a 401K for you to put in your own money.
No matching funds. Especially not with startups.
No pensions.
My neighbor, always whining about his schoolteacher salary gets to retire at age 55 at 60% of salary for life. Not a bad deal, but note that I pay for his retirement.
