What has the rest of the world done for America?

<WARNING: (The following may be perceived as jingoistic ramblings. It is recommended those with sensitive constitutions (or no constitution) turn back now!)

America has been carrying this planet for the past 50 years after Germany relinquished its role thanks to two successive megalomaniacs.

Bush has finally got the gumption to not cater and kowtow to every socialist party in control of our crumbling former allies.

Yes, our allied stance was purely a cold war relationship - based upon our ability to preserve freedom for these smaller nations.

France, Belgium, Germany, Spain and much of the UK have shown their true colors and it's a whole new ballgame.

Prove to us that you ARE our ally - and we will treat you as such. Otherwise there will be a parting of ways - and one with drastic consequences.

Did you know that if the US restricted trade with any civilized nation in the world their population's personal income would drop almost in half, while only reducing the US population's income some 2-4 percent?

Our "former allies" or "sometimes allies" have grown complacent, soft and socialistic under our protection, many were reluctant allies who took our protection and privately looked down upon our people and our way of life. Their political philosophies will rapidly change when realizing they may have to re-arm and protect themselves again from those who would seek their destruction.

After we crushed the Soviet Union by sheer capitalistic, economic force - like a walnut - these allies realized they were safer and so now speak out against us and make inane comments - very similar to calling the police 'pigs' after they have saved your house from robbers.

The secret resentment of these nations - of having to be protected for 40 years, like toddlers, is now showing itself full force. And the sheer jealousy of the US being the most powerful nation on the planet is rearing its ugly head.

Of course, the US needs allies, but we can now pick and choose our allies based upon actual reciprocal actions - instead of geographic boundaries.

The old school of caucasoid-nations being our primary allies is a fast fading concept. A relic of a victorian age.
As the planet rapidly becomes a shade of olive-brown, these notions are outmoded.

These nations will soon realize this. Bashing Bush will get them nowhere - his successors also know the expanding new markets are not in Europe, and that these nations better get off their high horse (and buggy) and enter the fast pace US-dominated world of the 21st century.

Just another thirty cents worth, ;-)
