sad....

>"First I apologize for posting without checking my spelling or verbiage.
>Obviously my name is not Kindy and the old man was asking if I loved HIM, not me....LOL
>Sorry, the phone rang, and in my chuckling delirium, I hit "post"."

Sounds even more like personal experience.... Dont worry bout the typos your lunacy comes through fine!

>We HAVE set the example for international aid, and have set up organizations to help other less >fortunate nations. However the CIA with it's separate foreign policy has brought us MANY >enemies, including the architects of the WTC,

Enemies like Al-Queda and the Taliban are the result of being a sane nation, and the lone superpower... if people like that liked us I would worry about our nation... They have made attacks on other nations too, nations that have no CIA... What these animals hate is western culture-- the only way to please them is to become nuts just like them. They hate us because we dont force you to wear a all body veil.... they hate us because we dont force everyone to worship allah... they hate us because thats all they have been taught by lunatic extremists in the madras'.... We are never going to make them happy-ever! We shouldnt feel like we need to try to make them happy...All we can do is insist that they hate us in a peaceful way or we will kill them. PERIOD!

>and Bush has been destroying 50 years of >diplomatic relations and international law with his >jingoistic, nationalistic cry for revenge.

Yeah - how dare he! Lindy, can you get it thru your skull that when a nation is attacked and that nation responds in force that it isnt revenge but self preservation? Did england attack hitler out of revenge? did we attack japan out of revenge? WHAT WERE YOU WANTING? Were we supposed to say "hey guys cut that out!"

>Self-appointed judge and jury.

LOL look I didnt vote for him, heck I dont even particularly like him... but he is NOT a "self appointed judge and jury" I consider him appointed by the will of the people (including me) to defend our nation in this matter, and so far I have liked his actions in that regard. And I have had many long discussions with Afghan americans who are overjoyed- almost to tears- that they can actually go home to see loved ones- that their people were finally free... So I have no qualms about our actions...
We have behaved in a very humanitarian way, we have done good, not revenge. This has been a just action with MANY benifits for many oppressed people. This is how America helps make the world a better place... I am a pacifist liberal- but I don't let my politics blind me to the facts. WE HAVE NO CHOICE OTHER THAN TO DESTROY THE TERRORISTS AND TOPPLE THE GOVERNMENTS THAT SUPPORT THEM!
>Born again, devout religionist.......His right comes from HIS God and HIS land.....
>Everyone else opinions be damned!

Lindy, your nutty opinions are the only ones being ignored- Putin let us use russian bases... every sane world leader aknowledged that this was an act of war...for the first time article V(?) was invoked.... we have the support and sympathy of the entire civilized world...hell the british people even serenaded our embassy with the star spangled banner! No sane person can question our right to respond... as for him being born again etc....in what way has his religion played a part in any of this? He has emphasized over and over that islam is a religion of peace and we are not at war with islam... He has spoken out strongly against discrimination against muslims... he exceeded my expectations in that regard.... Personally I am an agnostic/atheist, but I am ok with those that have a religion... What I cannot stand are the extremist be they christian or muslim that pervert their religion to allow themselves to do evil..

and yes, if people question our right to defend ourselves...then DAMN their opinions! They have the right to their opinions, but I have the right to view them with contempt!

>No! But I'd pity anyone who went to great lengths to feel sorry for themselves to the point of >threats or revenge.
>That's a dead horse, isn't it?

???
We are not feeling sorry for ourselves, we are taking- yet again- a role of leadership...
and how have we threatened anyone other than those that support terrorists? I personally feel that a lot of our allies have not helped out enough but we didnt threaten them. "Either you are against terrorists or with them" that seems like a reasonable statement...and if that terrifies any governments then that is fine by me.... They need a wake up call...

you, Lindy, need to wake up and SMELL THE CHARRED CORPSES and look at this situation objectively....

we have been given no choice but to respond, and the world knows it... over 3000 innocents dead because nuts hate us... there is no excuse or justification... the US has made mistakes in the past but NOT ONE GOD DAMN THING WE HAVE DONE WRONG WARRANTS THE ATTACK ON THE WTC! This is a just war, and any fool who says otherwise will be recognized for the fool they are.... Just like you have been...
