They come from two different worlds, two different POV's.
Certainly the left here has described the right with some accuracy, and vice-versa.
To me the mindsets are like......one group prefers to "just say no to sex before marriage", just like the other side prefers to wears mittens and a hat while going out in the cold while the other half doesn't.
Different mindsets, no discernable reason for it.
Just different, that's all.
If that's as deep as your philosophical roots go, I hope you're at least tied to a support stake.
