Nothing is perfect, and public libraries rely on the public.
They have rights to certain expectations, IMHO.
There is a line of reasonableness and compromise that exists in all public institutions, Libraries are not immune to this reality, I beleive.
But I would like to hear from someone who is actually there in the trenches that most of us here highly regard. Mary Anne is certainly that person.
