On that we can agree. The last great fireworks I purchased were on Alpine, Wyoming, on my way to Jackson Hole to purchase some. Didn't have to go all the way there.
Way back when I drank, a lot, I discovered the drive-up liquor stores in Wyoming. Signs on the "Don't drink and drive", I'm sure I wasn't the only one who thought that was funny.
I'll agree we trade freedom for security, and it's a poorer world for that. If you protect people from all hazards, you protect them from all opportunities.
That's sad, too. I truly wish there were fewer people. There could be more freedom.
