Moral Equivalence. We were no better than Hitler in WWII, right? Hey, he killed some, we killed some, so we can’t be judgmental and say we’re better, can we?
And now we have people telling us that Israeli troops under attack, in a bunker, firing with limited visibility through narrow slits (admittedly reckless) and accidentally killing a 12 year old boy, are morally equivalent to a Palestinian suicide bomber walking into a Passover Seder and intentionally blowing up 20 civilians.
