The casualties they inflicted are well documented.
What I was pointing out is that no Middle Eastern nation has been able to sustain a long war, excepting the Iran/Iraq war.
Iran and Iraq both depended on major inflows of arms from the international arms markets to sustain the war.
No Islamic country has the industrial capacity to replace heavy weapons lost in battle.
Neither has the capacity to on their own develop weapons effectively, thank God.
