Ask the Japanese about the Kuril Islands
The Russians still occupy those islands to this day. Isn't it amazing how Israel is held to a different standard than virtually all other countries throughout history. When we win a war, we give it back (eventually). Most other countries don't behave this way but they demand that Israel do so. It seems rather hypocritical to me.
Israel has been tough on the Palestineans over the years. Perhaps that has something to do with the fact that Israel was attacked so many times. "Turn the other cheek" is a Christian philosophy, not a Jewish one. Most so-called Christian countries don't do it either when they're attacked.
