<Well, nothing like the claim that if an army occupies a territory there is established a right of eminent domain, the country of the occupying army has the right to establish towns within that territory for all time.
You can argue about this, I suppose, but almost every single nation on the planet has done exactly this since the beginning of recorded history. Including the United States. If any military/political action has a precedent, it's this one.
Obviously, the Israelis occupied the Sinai. And, they seemed to have given it back. (Any settlements there? Wonder why not, besides it being a hellhole?)
There were indeed settlements in the Sinai. It wasn't a hellhole once the Israelis started working with it. The Israelis there were expelled, sometimes by force, as part of the peace agreement. The settlements were destroyed. Ironically, It was Sharon who assisted Begin with this process.
...But trying to say that the '67 armistice didn't restore the pre-'67 borders, in very large part, seems silly.
Can't you see that this sentence doesn't make sense? How can you have pre-1967 borders unless there are post-1967 borders? Israel has made NO agreement with anyone to withdraw to the 1949 borders, although God knows there has been enough pressure on them to do so.
