How do you "re-org in a democratic, non-terrorist manner" with a foreign army rampaging through your country and where your civil infrastructure has been systematically destroyed by this foreign occupier? Where a foreign occupier is asking you elect someone who doesn't mind the continuing invasion? (You and I both know it can't be done.)
*** You got me there. I DIDN'T know that.
Mainly because the way you phrased the issue is misleading. They will not elect someone unopposed to Israeli troops in the neighborhoods. The preson(s) elected will be for the purpose of ridding the neighborhood of the troops.
I don't think this was thought out at all. Absolutely no way the Palestinians could meet the demands.
*** No, it's a paradigm change from the previous politics of stalemate. It displeases the Arabists in the state department but offers a clear path that Palestinians can take. Will they abandon the politics of victimhood and take control of their fate and reach for a future for their children or will they continue to wallow in self-pity and hatred. A tough choice, because folks would rather whine than strive.
This really is a set-up to finish the ethnic cleansing. And the US is on the side of ethnic cleansing
*** Rhetoric, pure BS, especially from someone blind to the openly avowed and executed "Kill the Jews" Palestinian stance.
