TB, you're not growing older, you're getting bitter.

You want criteria, bucko? How about the biggest economic collapse since the Great Depression, brought about by corporate greed and malfeasance, the demolition of the Clinton surplus with the Bush tax cut, and a genuine war of oppression, imperialism and geopolitical gamesmanship in Iraq based on lies, manufactured threats and torture.

As for entitlements, they can be reformed by incremental corrections and adjustments, and shared sacrifice by all, it is not necessary to provoke class warfare and mass hardship to destroy them. Ryan's (among others)all-or-nothing choices are not being bought by his own constituents, much less the country as a whole.

And the lunatic fringe is now defined as good old fashioned fascism. You know what fascism is, don't you TB, a philosophy that immediately dismisses everyone who dares question its brutal social Darwinism as mere "socialism". But their days are numbered, aren't they? Barry isn't turning out to be the hand-wringing liberal wimp you were counting on, is he?
