Nothing new in any of that, Tom, just your usual Neocon bilgewater We've heard it all before, with and without footnotes. What you didn't bother to address is what I'm really interested in hearing your opinion on: Jeb Bush. Do you think he has a chance in 2012, for the nomination or the election?

Personally, I think he would be a formidable opponent for Obama. I don't care any more for his politics than I did his brother's, but he is considerably more articulate and intelligent, he doesn't have any of the unfortunate baggage Dubya has and his father stills commands considerable respect.

Not only that, with the Bush's generous position on immigration (think of all those braceros and their Anglo rancher employers in Texas) and anti-commie Hispanic Cuban exiles in S Florida), he could overcome Obama's support from Latinos and secure electoral pluralities in two very big states. His fluent Spanish and his Mexican wife would be big assets on the campaign trail.

Or is Jeb too much of a socialist for you?
