At 9:40 PDST, 9-26-02, I received the following update from one of Sen. Feinstein's local offices in Cali:

Callers favoring war: 313
Callers opposed to war: 14,042

While Tom's point about informal polls is well taken, I think it's fair to say that the figures indicate Californians calling the senator's office are overwhelmingly opposed to war with Iraq.
