If bin Ladin asked Sadam for help would Sadam have given help?

If bin Ladin asked Sadam for help would Sadam have given help? Of course he would. So the probability that Sadam did in fact have something to do with the attack is very high.

yet many here believe that Sadam deserves the benefit of the doubt until there is a "Smoking gun".

Maybe Sadam didn't know all the specifics but had only a cursory knowledge of what was going to go down... But then that would be the old "Plausable deniability" defense wouldn't it.

I wonder if democrats would assume the guilt of someone based on the idea theat they were insulated from the decision making process, only to provide plausable deniability.

Face it, based on what is known about Sadam Hussain, the probability that Sadam had absolutly no involvement whatsoever in the 9/11 attacks at approximatly .01.

That is to say:

p(SE) = .99

where S= Sadam
and E= Envolvement in the 9/11 attacks

But then thats probably a conservative estimate
