I keep thinking these "polls" are pulling numbers out of their hats.
A lot of national and international travellers come across my desk each week, and I always ask their opinions about Bush's proposed war on Iraq. Without exception, about 90% are opposed to it.
So where do they get all the numbers to make it look so dicey for Bush?
I recently read WHO they poll, and HOW they poll.....for the the more larger, conservative papers.
(And I will try and find the article and post that too.).
But they usually poll a little over a thousand people, mostly white males with salaries over $50,000 annually and 85% of those are Republican to begin with! And they all come from one area........like Boston, for example.
Duh.............
