I think the torture is acceptible in some cases. While I don't believe it should be used on nonviolent suspects, their are some instances where the knowledge is too important to pass up. How many lives can be saved by the getting to the information inside that man's head? Chances are that he's not going to give it up easily, in which case it's time to pull out the all purpose grater and a spray bottle of ammonia. Or with him being Muslim, maybe we could take his children and film them while we fed them some bacon and porkchops, that should make him tell us anything.
