Peas...why did it have to be peas?
Worked 12 hours rotating shifts all summer at the Green Giant vegetable packing plant for minimum wage when I was a kid. I've seen enough goddam peas to last me a lifetime.
It's a miracle I still like corn. Maybe because there's nothing like corn on the cob that was growing in a field an hour ago.
