"We do not intentionally slaughter innocents"

We are going to war, we know some innocents will die. Do you want to play word games?

"In a full scale war we will kill far fewer civilians than saddam kills in a week with his policies"

We shall soon see.

Gulf war 1 killed between 5,000 and 35,000 Iraqi civilians. I don't expect the toll to be any better now that we are fighting INSIDE Iraq. Plus, the class of soldiers that will die before surrendering are the ones up front with the rifles at their backs. The ones holding the rilfes will surrender as soon as we kill the first rank. Saddam would have no population if he killed those nombers weekly.

"The US does make mistakes, but we make the world better- to deny this is ignorance..... "

In general, I agree. But not in this specific. This will leave the world even worse than before
