"that reason and fact has failed to sway your opinion"

The claim is made that Iraq is harboring/training terorists, or is a source of international terrorism- yet not ONE terrorist operation has been linked to Iraq. No conclusive evidence has been produced outside of
1) The mere presence of one AQ operative in Iraq
2) Limitied suppoesed eyewitness accounts of a training camp. A camp that NO arieal photographic evidence has been produced to corroborate- evidence that would be a MAJOR political victory for the US to produce.

Then the claim is made that Iraq is a clear and present danger to the national security of the USA or allies. Yet Iraq has possessed WMD for 30 years and been in direct conflict with america for the last 12-13 and has NOT ONCE used WMD.

Then the claim is made that International law must be supported and Iraq must disarm, and this is the reason for the war. Yet the law making body that made the international law forbids war, and has passed no resolution authorizing war. So this justiufication fails.

And it goes on and on, this merry-go-round of anorexic justifications. None of them standing up to reason, but each as quickly dropped as raised.

The we add to this the fact that our Administration has failed to convince the world of the need for war, both in the popular and political arenas. We are vieewed as international criminals and by doing this, damage our ability to wield power all over the world and form consent.

Then add to that that our heavy-handed and insulting so-called 'diplomacy' has alienated allies and emboldened our enemies. Then add in the precedence this sets: that any nation capable of projecting force has the right to do so unilaterally and without clear pre-existing threat in service of no other goal bu STATED national interest. China and Taiwan anyone?

So yes, this is a vulger and STUPID act that does not stand to reason.
