You still ignor that Saddam kills his own people
It looks more like it was done on purpose by the Iraqi forces. First, send suicide bombers to the US troops. Second, verbally say there will be more such attacks. Third, send vans full of women and children at the troops. The confused troops, who don’t want to kill innocent civilians (We have made this point clear to Iraq, and they know it), have too choices, defend themselves against a possible suicide bomber, or take a chance and be killed.
If they shoot, Iraq has a PR tool for the Arab world and the ant-war crowd. If they don’t shoot, Iraq has a great way of getting suicide bombers to the US troops.
