Don't know, but to get the most bang for the buck so to speak...
If rebuilding Iraq is the real goal, then most of the value added work and the resulting profits will likly be plowed back into the Iraqi economy.
Will some American firms profit? I'm sure they will; otherwise, why would they be involved in the effort at all.
The Italian marble quarries lost a big customer. I bet they are miffed. It will take five or six 5-star hotels to equal the amount of marble used to construct one of Sadam's palaces.
