"Sounds like one of those strawman arguments to me."
You need to look this term up. Go to merriam webster- seriously, I did it for you, they have a decent definition that is reasonably complete. This is important. I have ignored your goading on this twice with this, and I am responding politely to you.
"It is also quite clear that a large portion of Iraqis were willing to engage in armed conflict to oust Saddam, but did not have the firepower. "
Again, even if what you say is true, how does this imply that we are morally correct ot oust Saddam FOR them AGAINST their expressed will.
The "NotSaddam" justification just does not wash, in fact is a jmoral non-sequiter.
"Your stance seems to boil down to a refusal to accept any justification for war."
No, I told you here and a thousand times (BTW, Mark, THAT argument you make is a strawman) I support violence in many situations... Our entry into WWII is unquestionably correct.
Mark, I am just pointing out that there is no rational justification for THIS war.
