How did the powerful member gain his power?
Was it the power of his intelect?
Or is he bigger and tougher than everybody else?
Or is he just more brutal, and taking advantage of the relative passiveness of the others?
Or maybe he exercises some sort of religious control?
Did a click within the larger group form and then combine their influence to annoint this person the leader...So in a sense he is only a front man for the ruler class?
Or is it some combination of all of the above?
What makes a leader a leader? If I knew I'd write a book on leadership skills.
Is the answer a cult?
Please tell me what you are trying to get at?
