You're making a false assumption
that all memners of the group are, or should be, equal.
Free, democratic nations that make a reasonable effort to respect human rights are inherently superior to backwards tin pot dictatorships or nations dominated by religous lunatics anywhere, and their opinion counts alot more. That's why I respectfully disagree with decent, civilized states like France and Germany, but I don't gve a sh@t what the leadership of Cuba, North Korea, Syria, Libya, or any other worthless tyranical regime thinks. In fact, it is good and proper that we force our will upon them.
