I'm not for eating the rich. I'm just against them using their influence to benefit themselves at the expense of everyone else. I'm especially against this give us some extra money again and it will trickle down to the rest of you just like it DIDN'T last time we got fat tax cuts.
The phrasing here illustrates the world-view problem. "Benefit themselves at the expense of everyone else...give us some extra money." Whose money is it in the first place?
