re: P.S.

Your attempts to paint all my comments as simply anti-rich are nonsense. I fully intend to be rich one day. It is almost certain if I live long enough for an inheritance, but I plan to do it myself. I'm probably a lot closer to it than most here my age do to my own efforts and work. If you are closer than me despite working for a string of failed companies when I have had a lot of success increasing real profits and efficiency, that in itself implies something is wrong with our system. I don't intend however to use any wealth to keep adding to it while screwing everyone else.

Unfortunately, I do not stand to inherit anything except a small chunk of a farm in southern Minnesota some day. It must be nice. I have no idea what you do for a living, but I'd bet you don't run your own business.

I'm sorry to hear that you think I did not "properly" earn my wealth. In a worldview where a person's right to his own life and property are subject to the vote of others, I can see how you might think that way.

It's a little depressing that I can't get through to you on this, since you are one of the most reasonable people here. I shudder to think what the hard-line leftists have planned for me.

Remember, any political system that claims the right to decide what's "fair" as far as prosperity goes, must have someone who gets to decide who gets the money. If you want to see real corruption, there's where you look.

For the record, our society is NOT "egalitarian." Pol Pot's Cambodia was "egalitarian."
