I really would hate to loose all confidence and trust in this President like I did the last one we had.

We were told over and over that there was intelligence to back these claims of WMD in Iraq. I was sold on the idea that we were in imminent danger of a biological terrorist attack. And you’re right, that was the whole reason we went into Iraq in the first place. My logic tells me that if there was concrete evidence and intelligence to back these claims then it should be easy to locate and produce whether it‘s buried somewhere or has been moved to another neighboring country. The ‘intelligence’ should know exactly where this stuff is right now.

The human atrocities that occurred there were a horrible thing, however if you look around the world there are lot’s of people that need saving. We didn’t give a rat’s a** about the Iraqi people before, during or after the Gulf war. I would even bet that if the WTC attacks had never occurred it would be business as usual for Saddam and his Baath party. The so-called liberation of the Iraqi people never even mattered until politicians figured out that Americans bought into it and rallied behind it. It seems to me that if WMD were not found they had the liberation thing as justification for this war or maybe a back up, ‘feel good’ about ourselves plan.

The irony is that I’m no liberal and I voted for Bush.
