unless of course they start pulling VX artillery shells from the sand like scat in a litter box.
just an FYI, VX won't survive burried in the sand (well, then again niether would a mig-25, and that didn't stop the Iraqis from doing it). It requires controlled conditions and special facilities. Simpler chemical weapons like mustard gas could, as well as biological weapons depending on what form they are in. E.G. Anthrax Spores
