We all have our extremists. One difference is that the example cited above speaks to people who are making policy in this country, not just writing position papers, going to cocktail parties, and "influencing culture". The enormous influence of Marxists on the culture of this country would of course explain why we have John Ashcroft as Attorney General.

Funny, thinking about your past remarks on the subject, I would say that you do, except in an historical sense. (It's difficult to blame socialism for the Crusades, though I think I could make the stretch for you: monasteries and convents are communist in a very pure sense, and the monasteries provided the leadership that inspired the Crusades.) You have even gone so far, in the past, as to identify Fascists as socialists because of the word "socialist" in the official name of the Nazi party. Nothing that others have done is ever equal to the evil that "socialism" has done, in your world. You also fail to distinguish among various political, economic and philosophical forms, using the terms "socialist", "communist", "Marxist", and "collectivist" (kibbutz, anyone?) interchangeably.
