Every single nation that has adopted Marxism as a form of government has ended up a hellhole. A poverty-stricken, shortage-wracked, totalitarian hellhole that routinely imprisons and murders its own citizens by the millions, and sets up death barriers to keep them from escaping, although many still risk it. And that doesn't count the effect that these nations have had on the rest of the world.

This has been the result despite the fact that the nations are from many different cultures, with many different histories, many different geographies, and many different languages. It doesn't matter if it isn't "real" Marxism. The results are the same regardless of the "intention." Hayek, among others, pointed out decades ago that this tyranny is an inescapable consequence of Marxist socialism and collectivism, not an aberration of it.

Marxism kills.

This is a pretty goddam specific statement.

If you have an actual refutation, please knock yourself out. God knows I have heard every leftist excuse known to man for this since I was in college.
