You're wrong on taxes though. Not enough and you can't provide needed infrastructure or an effective legal system, too much and business is stifled.
True, as far as it goes. Now, for a good time, go to the budget documents and figure out what percent of the Federal Budget actually goes to infrastructure or the legal system, as opposed to raw pork and massive wealth redistribution. This might give you an idea of how much our taxes could be reduced and still perform the Constitutional and essential functions of government.
